Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the business that creates an account) and SupportMates LLC ("SupportMates", "we"), the seller and operator of AyudaMate. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The service
AyudaMate reads the public pages of the website you provide and the FAQ you write, and answers your website visitors' questions in English and Spanish through an embeddable chat. Answers are generated by AI from your content and may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing your FAQ and for the information on your website.
2. Plans, free trial and automatic renewal
- Free preview: 25 conversations in total, no card required.
- Starter: $19/month for up to 500 conversations per calendar month (UTC). Pro: $49/month for up to 3,000 conversations per month, lead capture, and no AyudaMate badge.
- A "conversation" is a chat in which a visitor sends at least one message. When you reach your limit the assistant shows your contact details instead of answering until the next period or until you upgrade. There are no overage charges.
- Free trial: paid plans start with a 7-day free trial (one per business). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and your payment method is charged the plan price every month until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime online in your dashboard (Plan & billing → Manage subscription). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Failed payments may result in the service being limited to the free tier.
3. Acceptable use
You may only install AyudaMate on websites you own or are authorized to manage. You may not use AyudaMate:
- for legal services or legal intake (law firms and legal-services providers must use our separate IntakeMates service), or to give legal, medical, financial or tax advice;
- to collect protected health information, Social Security numbers, financial account or card numbers, or other sensitive personal information;
- on websites directed to children under 13, or for adult, gambling, weapons, or illegal products or services;
- to send spam, to impersonate others, or to scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or attack the service or other customers.
We may suspend accounts that violate these rules or put the service or others at risk.
4. Your content and your visitors
You keep ownership of your website content, FAQ, conversations and leads. You grant us a license to use them only to provide and improve the service. You are responsible for telling your website visitors about the chat in your own privacy notice, for any required consents, and for how you use leads (including any calls or texts you send them).
5. The "Powered by AyudaMate" badge
The free preview, Starter, and trial periods display a small "Powered by AyudaMate" link in the chat. Do not hide or remove it on those plans.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that AI answers will be accurate, complete, or uninterrupted, or that the service will produce any particular business result.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SupportMates is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
8. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify SupportMates against third-party claims arising from your website content, your FAQ, your use of leads, or your violation of these terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may terminate or suspend the service with notice (or immediately for serious violations). Sections 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10 survive termination.
10. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which SupportMates LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms by posting a new version; material changes will be emailed to you at least 30 days in advance. Contact: sales@thesupportmates.com.
